Reese Ryann has arrived

My brother and sister n law welcomed their second daughter on 9-9-08. She weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and she looks like her daddy. She was delivered via c-section as she was breeched. Big sister Tori was extremely excited but worried where her mommy was. Everyone is doing good.

Day at the X-Games

Jeff's boss dropped off some free tickets to the x-games one Saturday morning and both Jeff and I weren't home so when we found out we both rushed home got ready as fast as we could and headed to Carson to go to the x-games. Well as soon as we were walking in we heard Ryan Sheckler autograph signing over at Oakley. The boys were so excited to hear his name so when we got in we walked over to where Oakley was and a small line had begun to form. Jeff didn't want us to stand in line because we could be there for hours but Jacob wearing his Oakley Ryan Sheckler sunglasses was extremely excited for the chance to meet him so I stood in line with him. After about 45 minutes we realized we had nothing for him to sign so I called Jeff and had him stand in line for us while we went to look for something to buy. We finally found a x-game skateboard for Jacob and an x-game hat for Dillon. When we returned back to the line there was so many people in line and a lot of people were trying to sneak in. We ended up waiting a total of 1 1/2 hours until he showed up and oh lord were the boys excited. We watch the Life of Ryan show on MTV and they reconized his brothers and friends from the show. Dillon loves Kane Sheckler which is Ryan's youngest brother and he was there. Anyway we got to meet him and he signed their things and Dillon's favorite part was when Ryan said to him "What's up boss". Jeff said I was more excited then the boys but I don't know about that

Dillon's Preschool Graduation

Dillon was so excited to have his little graduation ceremony. He was so cute when he had to get up on the little stage and speak into the microphone. We all thought he would be too embarrassed to speak but he has a way of always proving us wrong and in a very loud and clear voice he said my name is Dillon Ryan Merrill and when I grow up I want to be a football player. It was a special day.

Well my brother-n-law just got married on Saturday May 17th. We had such a long day but seeing him so happy was completely worth it. Welcome to the family J'lene.

Shocking News!

Well I'm so excited to say that I'm pregnant. I have always wanted 3 children but my husband was not on board. Most of you know that Jeff and I have had several upsetting conversations about having another child. I guess god had other plans for us. In March when I missed my cycle I thought I must of just been really stressed out but after a couple of days I rechecked when I should of started and realized I was 5 days late I went to Kaiser took a pregnancy test and then next day I got an e-mail from Kaiser with a positive test result I about passed out. I was extremely nervous to tell my husband because I knew how he felt about having another child and all he said was "it is what it is". We kept it a secret from our families until after I had my first appointment because I've had a miscarriage in the past and I wanted to make sure everything was looking good before we told them. I knew they were going to be so excited. So on Mother's Day we sent all our parents an edible arrangement or cookies by design arrangement with a note that said "Grandma, I cant wait to meet you soon. My brothers tell me how wonderful you are. So until then have a very happy Mother's Day. Love, Your future grandchild." My stepmoms was a little different because Cookies by Design didn't give me enough room on the card. Anyway, the boys are overjoyed and Dillon has to kiss my belly every night and it's really cute. My due date is December 19th which sucks but god must of thought we could handle one more December birthday. Jacob just doesn't want to spend his birthday in the hospital which is December 15th. We shall see.

Easter

WOW! I don't know how many pictures Jamie and I have tried to take of our kids together and FINALLY Jamie snagged this picture on Easter. I just had to share.

Disneyland Santa

Every year on Jacob's birthday we go to Disneyland. This year I decided to see if I could get a picture with Santa. There was only 2 people in front of us which is was exciting for me but Dillon of course was terrified. I think the last Santa picture I have of the boys was when Dillon was 1 1/2 years old and he was screaming his head off. I didn't have much time to bribe him so I promised him if he at least looked at the camera I would buy him McDonald's french fries.

OH BOY, it worked like a charm. He even managed to give me a little smile. As soon as he was done he told me "Mom that Santa wasn't very scary and can I have my own fries" Gotta love Dillon.
